Fair pay for heavy OR and PACU

I’m a veterinary surgical technician in a specialty hospital assisting sterile ortho/soft tissue (electrocautery, suction, instrument counts) and then running PACU with ETCO2/ECG, pain scores q15 x 1 hr, and CRIs (fentanyl–lidocaine–ketamine) for 4–6 cases a day. With 1:3 weekend on-call, what hourly range or differentials are you seeing for this scope, and is it reasonable to push for a PACU ratio cap around 1 tech to 3 post-ops in offers?

During a Wi‑Fi hiccup last month, I kept AI perio charting reliable by using a cheap USB foot pedal mapped to “Enter” to confirm each sextant so the app didn’t mis-hear numbers over the suction. Small caveat: the pedal loved to sleep between patients, so I set its timeout to “never” and keep a corded backup in the drawer.
