I’ve been noticing how dental health is often overlooked in our training programs. Given the prevalence of periodontal disease in pets, I think it’s vital for us as veterinary technicians to make dental care a standard part of our practice. Regular cleanings and client education on home dental care can really make a difference in an animal’s overall health and longevity.
